International Criminal Court Chief Prosecutor Fatou Bensouda is set to complete her term today (Wed).

Bensouda ruled in favor of investigating Israel on war-crimes charges following the 2014 Operation Protective Edge in Gaza, Jewish building in Judea and Samaria, and the 2018 Gaza conflict. The outgoing official had hinted her of putting and end to the probe after the IDF said it would carry out its own investigation.

Attorney Karim Khan of the UK will take over her spot.

Khan has connections in the Muslim world, but has vowed to keep the ICC out of battles it can't win.
