Alon Schwartzer, one of the organizers of the flag parade, welcomed in an interview with Galei Tzahal the decision of the Minister of Internal Security, Omer Bar-Lev, to confirm that it would be taking place.
"Bar-Lev continues the path of Rabin and Ben-Gurion and the tradition of the Labor Party. Israeli citizens have the right to march in Jerusalem and not be afraid of a terrorist organization - we should not lower our heads every time we are threatened with violence," Schwartzer said.
