The chairman of Yisrael Beyteinu, Avigdor Liberman, offered MK Eli Avidar the position of Minister of Finance. Avidar, who saw this as an inappropriate offer, refused it, saying, "from now on, the Yisrael Beyteinu faction no longer has seven MKs, but six and one independent MK."
