A 13-year-old boy almost drowned in a pool in the Binyamin Council. His condition is listed as 'severe'.
MDA medics were able to revive him by CPR and a defibrillator. He was taken to Shaare Zedek Hospital.
MDA paramedic Aviad Meisels said: "When we arrived at the pool, we saw the lifeguard giving CPR and defibrillation to a boy who was without a pulse and not breathing. We continued treatment; when his condition stabilized and his heart began to beat again, we put him in an intensive care unit and evacuated him to the hospital in severe condition. "
