A senior official in the Prime Minister's' Office tried last night to promote a compromise between MK Ben Gvir and police regarding the protest march that Ben Gvir planned to hold today in the Muslim Quarter of Jerusalem, Reshet Bet reported.
According to the compromise, Ben Gvir and Mai Golan would march alone, without additional activists, from the Damascus Gate to the Western Wall - at 1 pm, four hours before the planned Arab demonstration. Police Commissioner Kobi Shabtai refused the compromise offer.
