In a situation assessment carried out last Thursday at the Ministry of Health, the southern African nation of Namibia was added to the list of countries with severe travel restrictions, which currently includes: Uruguay, Seychelles Islands, Bolivia, The Maldives, Namibia, Nepal, Paraguay, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica and Tunisia.

The ministry emphasized that if there is no significant improvement in the level of morbidity in these countries, they are expected to join a list of states at maximum risk of COVID infection.
