The offical Iranian Tansim News Agency reported that a fire broke out at a steel plant in the southeast of the country following an explosion at the site.
The news agency reported that the local governor turned down rumors of an explosion that set the facility in flames, instead claiming the blaze was ignited due to "spilling molten material." News outlets also claimed the fire was under control and that no injuries had taken place.
