Nissim Toito, commander of Jerusalem District Fire and Rescue, estimates that firefighters will be able to gain control of the fire near Tzur Hadassah.
"We have been operating for about 5 hours since the beginning of the fire, which has expanded significantly and now threatens the outskirts of Tzur Hadassah. Even so, we can still see some temporary success against the fire."
