Knesset Speaker Yariv Levin (Likud) has requested of Yamina party chief Naftali Bennett and Yesh Atid head Yair Lapid that they present their coalition agreements to the Knesset, along with the accompanying agreements they have made with the other parties expected to join them in government.

"MK Yair Lapid and MK Bennett have announced that they are able to form a government, but they have yet to give the Knesset Secretariat a copy of their coalition agreement," Levin said. "It is unacceptable that they should conceal their coalition agreements from the Knesset and the public. The agreements should be immediately submitted to the Secretariat, along with the signatures of the parties involved, enabling a public discussion of the agreements - and also, to inform Knesset members of the type and form of government they are voting on."

Levin added that, "Failure to present the agreements and refusal to publish all the related agreements gives rise to grave suspicion that the various parties concerned wish to conceal their dealings and prevent public discussion of the issues involved, and also to stifle discussion of the agreement in the Knesset once the details are revealed. I call on MK Lapid and MK Bennett to transfer copies of the agreements to the Secretariat immediately."
