Likud faction chairman MK Miki Zohar addressed the ongoing negotiations to form a unity government in an interview with Reshet Bet.
"We know how to respect the democratic value of the majority decision, and if they have a majority then we will respect it and go to the opposition. But we will not allow Yair Lapid to say 'I succeeded' without actually succeeding - he will have to prove he really has a coalition and present all agreements," said Zohar.
Asked which cards were left in the hands of the Likud to prevent the formation of the Bennett-Lapid government, Zohar replied: "I am very sorry to say that they are already mad enough to form this strange coalition. What can happen is that some Yamina members come to their senses, understand that this is really bad and prevent it."
