The Israel Security Agency (Shin Bet) and the Israel Police have begun investigating the attack in which a security man was stabbed in the Eshkol Regional Council in southern Israel and lightly wounded.
Police said they are investigating an "attempted murder in the circumstances of an act of terrorism." The suspect was neutralized by another security guard who was at the scene, arrested and taken to hospital for treatment.
