The Lehava organization, which works to prevent assimilation, welcomes the cancellation of the annual pride assembly that takes place every year at the end of the pride parade in Jerusalem, due to economic difficulties of the sponsoring Open House organization.

Lehava says that "the economic difficulties of Open House are welcome, and the abolition of the pride rally is even more welcome. A rally whose entire purpose is to anger and defy the religious and traditional public, which constitutes an absolute majority in Jerusalem should not take place, nor should the parade itself."
