The coalition negotiations that are taking place between Yesh Atid and other partiesinclude an agreement that the right-wing block of the Knesset would have a veto on the appointment of judges to the Supreme Committee of the Judicial Selection Committee.

According to the agreements, two representatives of the Knesset members appointed to the committee will come from right-wing parties. New Hope chairman Gideon Saar, who is expected to be appointed Justice Minister, will be the third representative of the right-wing parties, thus creating a majority that can block any appointment of a Supreme Court judge.
