Yamina MK Ayelet Shaked has chosen to respond to statements and posts by American model Bella Hadid that were sharply critical of Israel's conduct in its most recent conflict with Hamas.
"Bella, you should be ashamed for sharing the completely false and deeply offensive lie that I ever called for ‘genocide,’" she wrote. "It’s this kind of baseless demonization that is encouraging anti-Semitic violence. Unlike Hamas and its supporters, we target terrorists and protect civilians.
"And btw- the content Facebook removed contained explicit incitement to terror & violence. Do you have a problem with removing terrorist incitement from social media?"
