Prof. Zeev Rothstein, director of Hadassah Hospital, told Reshet Bet this morning that a severe lack of equipment in Israel's hospitals endangers patients' lives.
"A lack of equipment poses a serious threat to our ability to treat our patients," he said. "We are determined not to take any step that would impact negatively on our patients, but at the end of the day, if a sick person arrives at the hospital and we lack the equipment necessary to treat him, he will probably die."
