Speaking on Galei Tzahal this morning, Gen. (res.) Gershon Hacohen, a fellow at the Begin-Sadat Center for Strategic Studies, discussed the recent ceasefire agreement with Hamas.
"The ceasefire that we're seeing now is of a different type from what we've seen in the past," he said. "There was absolutely no document drawn up - it's almost like the interval between scenes in a play at the theater when you go out for a few moments to drink a cup of coffee - and then return for the next scene."
