Speaking on Galei Tzahal this morning, Israel's former ambassador to the UN, Danny Danon, commented on the recent decision of the UN Human Rights Council to investigate Israel for "systematic discrimination and repression" during the most recent conflict with Gaza.

"In theory, the investigation examines all sides of the issue - however, in practise, we know the outcome already," he said. "We are already familiar with this organization which instead of condemning Hamas, is taking the course it has always taken in the past. Palestinian Authority representatives have been in touch with representatives from Islamic countries. We should be considering exacting a steep price from the PA for its state terror activities against us."
