Authorities in Australia have announced a week-long closure in Victoria, the second most populous state on the continent, following the diagnosis of 12 new corona infections in the region.
As part of the closure, seven million Victoria citizens will be forced to stay in their homes aside from leaving for work defined as vital, receiving health care, grocery shopping or physical activity.
