The prosecutor's office today (Sunday) asked the Tel Aviv District Court to sentence former Deputy Interior Minister Faina Kirschenbaum to at least 10 years in prison for accepting bribes, breach of trust, money laundering, and tax offenses.
In addition, the prosecution requested that Kirschenbaum be fined NIS 2 million and be forced to pay an additional NIS 2 million.
