Speaking on Reshet Bet this morning, MK Itamar Ben Gvir said that if he had been part of the government deciding on the ceasefire, it would have included a demand to overthrow Hamas.
"The Prime Minister is aware of my stance on this matter," Ben Gvir said. "I won't agree to any deal that effectively abandons the residents of the south. We want to see Hamas totally crushed, to flatten their villas and command centers from the air and to be talking about 2,000 of their commanders eliminated, not just 200."
