An alarm was heard in Misgav Am in the Upper Galilee. The IDF said that the details were under investigation. Residents in the area reported hearing explosions but later said no missiles hit down in Israeli territory and that the explosions were most likely on the Lebanese side of the border.
Local authorities said they were preparing to authorize the opening of bombing shelters in expectation of attacks by Hezbollah.
The IDF returned fire towards the source of the attack.
