Report: Israel refusing to consider ceasefire at this point

The Russian Tass news agency is reporting that Israel is rejecting the idea of a ceasefire with Hamas at the current time.

An Egyptian delegation that had apparently set out to Israel to broker a deal has returned to Cairo.
