Likud party chairman MK Miki Zohar has called for IDF strikes on Gaza to continue until all the Israeli citizens and soldiers, dead or alive, that Hamas is holding, are released.
"Demands from Hamas for a ceasefire are not relevant as long as Hadar Goldin and Oron Shaul are still being held in Gaza," Zohar said, referring to two IDF soldiers killed in action in Gaza, whose bodies are still being held by Hamas.
"Yesterday, the IDF displayed just a small range of its firepower and will continue to strike hard at its enemies. We must allow the army to complete its task - that is, to crush Hamas and its capabilities."
