Speaking on Galei Tzahal this morning, Gabi Ne'eman, head of the Shlomi Regional Council, addressed yesterday's fire from Lebanon. Shlomi is located very close to the Lebanese border.
"Three days ago, I was already alerted that something like this could happen," he said. "It's incredible that 50% of the residents of my area are effectively without protection, under such a severe threat from Hezbollah.
"I am asking the Prime Minister to protect the north," he added.
