Following the security situation assessment and meeting of the security cabinet, Defense Minister Benny Gantz declared a state of alert within a 80 km range of Gaza for the coming 48 hours.
The Home Front Command is expected to issue detailed instructions to Israeli citizens in accordance with the security cabinet's assessment.
