Jerusalem Mayor Moshe Leon responded in an interview with Reshet Bet to the decision to ban Jews from ascending the Temple Mount today.
"I support the commissioner and the police. I do not think it is a surrender, there is a responsibility for human life here," Leon said. On the flag march he said: "At any given moment the route is examined and decisions are made, if it needs to be changed - it will be."
