Speaking on Radio 103FM this morning, MK Itamar Ben Gvir (Religious Zionism) ridiculed the idea that a unity government established by Naftali Bennett together with left-wing parties could last.

"Netanyahu isn't going anywhere," he said. "If Bennett cuts a deal with the Left, within a month or two any government he forms will fall apart. We'll end up going to elections yet again, and we'll win big if that happens.

"If, on the other hand, Bennett joins us," he continued, "we'll have 61 MKs. We'll form a truly right-wing government, and then we'll be able to sleep in peace at night."
