The head of the National Security Staff, Meir Ben Shabbat, will today hold a discussion on the distribution of Israel's surplus vaccines to the world, Kan reported.
The hearing has not taken place since the AG demanded that it be done, after Kan revealed the vaccine diplomacy initiative. In Israel, the move to transfer about 20,000 vaccines to countries around the world was stopped, following Mandelblit's demand. So far, and for months, Netanyahu has refrained from convening the cabinet to address the issue.
