Kan News is reporting Yamina chairman Naftali Bennett demanded PM Netanyahu pass on the mandate for forming the government to him.
According to the report, Bennett stipulated that if Netanyahu fails to meet his demand, he will join a Lapid-led left-wing government.
Sources in Yamina are denying the report.
