The chief of staff, Major General Aviv Kohavi, visited Tapuah Junction this morning, where the shooting attack took place yesterday. Subsequently, the Chief of Staff conducted a situation assessment, in which the commander of the Judea and Samaria Division, Brigadier General Yaniv Alaluf, surveyed the deployment of forces in the sector in light of recent events.
IDF forces continue to pursue the terrorists involved in the attack and continue to intensify defense efforts in the area.
