The police clarified that there was no attempt to steal weapons from a Border Policeman in the area of the clashes at the Flower Gate in Jerusalem.
"This is an incident in which the policeman pushed off one of the rioters while holding his weapon in front. An incident took place at the Flower Gate and not at the Damascus Gate as claimed and in general we recommend relying on trusted spokesman reports and not publications aimed at misleading the public," it said.
