An IDF patrol at the Egyptian border noticed three vehicles headed towards Egypt from the Israeli side of the border last night. After instructions to stop were ignored and one of the vehicles sped up in the direction of the soldiers, the patrol opened fire, killing one of the suspects.
The incident is being investigated by the IDF.
