Former Consul General of Israel in New York, Dani Dayan, on Wednesday criticized Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's intention to lead to a direct election of the Prime Minister after failing to form a government.
"It should be made clear: What Netanyahu is doing after the Israeli election is worse than what Trump did after the US election. Trump challenged the vote count. Netanyahu is challenging the election method. One should hope that Netanyahu's supporters are less violent than Trump's supporters and that the Knesset guard is better than the Capitol Police," Dayan said.
