Former State Prosecutor Shai Nitzan participated Wednesday in a conference of the Union of Corporations in Municipal Authorities, saying that the investigation of former Israel Bar Association chief Efi Naveh was justified and important.
"The claim that the case was closed because they were afraid of the recordings is complete bunk," he said.
Regarding the cases against Israeli Prime MInister Binyamin Netanyahu, he said that "the Supreme Court and [Attorney General Avichai] Mandelblit were correct when they decided to allow a prime minister to serve under indictment."
