A report in the Ma'ariv daily claims Bennett's Yamina party was offered an "impressive package" of ministerial portfolios including the Foreign, Defense, and Culture ministries.
According to the report, the main sticking point in talks between the parties was Bennett's insistence on serving a 1-year rotation in the role of prime minister which Netanyahu has thus far turned down, claiming that, "the haredi parties have ruled out the option."
