Itzik Saidian (26), a disabled IDF veteran who set himself on fire yesterday in front of the Ministry of Defense's rehabilitation offices, continues to be in critical condition.
He was anesthetized and placed on respiration and hospitalized in the intensive care at the National Burns Unit.
Prof. Yossi Haik, director of the unit, said, "The wounded man suffers from deep and extensive burns all over his body and his condition continues to be critical. We are doing everything we can to save his life."
