Jonathan Pollard entered the Tomb of Joseph in Samaria last night, accompanied by his wife Esther and the head of the Samaria Council, Yossi Dagan, with a Torah scroll he wrote through a messenger with his money 12 years ago when he was in prison and designated it for Joseph's tomb.
The Torah dedication was held with the participation of: Samaria Regional Council Chairman Yossi Dagan, Rabbi Shmuel Eliyahu of Tzfat whose father Rabbi Mordechai Eliyahu accompanied Pollard for years, Rabbi Elyakim Levanon, rabbi of Samaria, Deputy Chairman of the Samaria Regional Council Davidi Ben Zion, Yonatan Pollard, his wife Esther and activists, many who for years fought for his release.
