The Yamina party recommended that President Reuven Rivlin impose the mandate to form the government on the Yamina chairman, Naftali Bennett.
"We are optimistic that it will be possible to form a government and we will do everything not to reach a fifth election. We recommend Bennett, and if not now then in the second round," said MK Ayelet Shaked.
