Ramat Gan Mayor Carmel Shama Hacohen, who is close to New Hope chairman Gideon Sa’ar, said on Thursday that Sa’ar does not intend to join a government led by Binyamin Netanyahu.

"There will be no agreement or even negotiations for a government headed by Netanyahu. Maybe we are not world champions in campaigns but we are certainly not fraudsters. People voted for us with the goal of replacing Netanyahu," said Shama Hacohen.

"Anyone who believes that a narrow right-wing government is what Israel needs should know: There is one person to blame for the fact that we do not have a right-wing government in Israel and his name is Netanyahu," the Mayor of Ramat Gan added.
