The AFP is reporting that, "Egyptian tug boats are working to free a giant container vessel stuck in the Suez Canal that threatens to disrupt one of the world's busiest maritime trade routes for days."
It also stated that according to authorities, "the Suez Canal has 'temporarily suspended navigation.'"
In a connected report, AFP said the "Japanese owner of the vessel was said to be facing 'extreme difficulty' refloating the ship."
