Central Election Commission chief executive Orly Ades said this morning that the election results are not expected to be fully clarified until Friday.

"We conduct very meticulous control processes over the results, checking for deviations, checking statistics, checking for anomalies. All of these things take time, so during the night the results will flow slowly," Ades said.

"I hope that by morning we will be able to see about 70% of the results at all the regular polls. Everything else will flow during the morning and regarding the double envelopes, they will be counted, they are undergoing a very complex process of pre-counting inspection here in the Knesset. This count will only begin on Wednesday night. "
