Saudi Arabia's Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan offered a cease-fire to the Iran-backed Houthi rebels in Yemen on Monday.
According to the offer, a nationwide ceasefire would be put in place.
Faisal added that negotiations would continue between the warring parties as the ceasefire takes effect and strongly criticized Iran’s interference in the conflict.
He sad the deal would be formalized as soon as the Houthis agreed to their end of the bargain.
