Police official: Some 20,000 police to be deployed at voting stations

In an interview with Galei Tzahal, Yishai Shalem, head of the police operations department, commented on the preparations for the elections.

"We will be deployed widely throughout the country, on the order of about 20,000 police officers at the polls. A high presence is also expected on the roads, so the traffic police will be deployed widely."
