Former Defense Minister and Yamina chairman Naftali Bennett on Sunday evening criticized the Likud ministers for failing to comment on a break-in by Bedouin to a home in a community in southern Israel, in which a 10-year-old girl who was sleeping in her bed was attacked.

"Cowardly politicians," Bennett wrote on Twitter. "Until now, no Likud government minister has bothered to comment on the Bedouin gang's break-in and the attack on a 10-year-old girl in a town in the south. No visit. No phone call to the family. Silence. A million citizens in fear, abandoned by cowardly politicians. Israel deserves a brave government that cares. 9 more days."
