New Hope party chairman Gideon Sa’ar spoke at a party conference in the city of Ashdod on Thursday evening.
Sa’ar promised, "After the election, we will come here to Ashdod to celebrate with friends the victory, change and liberation of an entire country from the government of a single ruler. A leader must act according to what the state needs and not think about himself. I knew that I must build an alternative to the government that will bring change and good news to the citizens of Israel, and that is ‘New Hope’. A movement that looks the citizens of the country in the eye and cares about their well-being. We do not shy away from difficulty and are not afraid of anything. In the end, the people, the vast majority of whom want change, will bring about change."
