Hungarian Justice Minister Judit Varga said in an interview with Israel Hayom that Hungary is leading a change in the EU's position on Jerusalem.

Asked if Hungary would be willing to lead the EU in moving its embassy to Jerusalem and recognizing Jerusalem as the capital of Israel, the minister replied: "Let's not forget Hungary was the first member of the EU that opened a trade office with diplomats in Jerusalem. It's important for trade and diplomacy, and shows that Hungary is now leading a change in the Europe's approach to Jerusalem."
