Brazil registers 2,286 deaths from coronavirus in 24 hours

Brazil on Wednesday registered a record for daily COVID-19 fatalities with 2,286 in 24 hours.

In addition, 79,876 new cases were recorded, bringing the total to more than 11.2 million.
