A driver of the Superbus company on line 14 in Beit Shemesh was attacked last night in the city after he refused to pick up a passenger with an electric bicycle.
The passenger along with his friends hung on the bus doors and tried to dislodge them. The passenger cursed at the driver vigorously and threatened to hit him. When he did not respond to the passengers' calls, the driver was physically attacked. Thanks to the partition that had long been installed on the bus, the driver came out unscathed.
According to the driver, one of the passengers tried to take control of the bus and even shifted gears during the drive, which endangered the safety of the passengers.
