IDF Southern Commander General Herzli Halevi spoke with Channel 12 News military commentator Roni Daniel at the Keshet and N12 Influencers Conference.
"Our job is to prevent intensification in Gaza; Iran has an intention to harm Israel, it provides money and weapons to jihad and equips terror organizations to harm Israel, Israel will know how to deal," he added: "We have a mission to bring Goldin and Oron Shaul to a grave in Israel. We have two civilians who, for tragic reasons, found themselves in the hands of Hamas. In Gaza, the situation is limited until the issue is resolved."
