The Magen David Adom blood services call on the general public and especially on those with type O blood to come and donate blood, due to a decrease in the blood supply in Israel.
The shortage was caused, among other things, by the decline in the availability of sites where donations can be made during the coronavirus period.
MDA says that anyone who feels well, meets the Health Ministry's blood donation metrics, and those who have at least 28 days since their exposure to a verified coronavirus patient or from the time of recovery from the virus can donate blood.
